Vadivelu in his most recent interview has opened up that he has ten films on hand but is unable to do them due to the machinations of director Shankar and the Producer Council. He has stated that he plays three characters in the ill fated 'Imsai Arasan 24aam Pulikesi' and wanted to contribute to the character but the producer and director Chimbu Devan are not willing to allow him. He has further stated that he is not ready for any talks with the council or Shankar but is ready to act and complete the film if his suggestions are accepted and if they can point out that he is wrong.
'Imsai Arasan 24aam Pulikesi' is the sequel to 'Imsai Arasan 23 aam Pulikesi' the blockbuster hit film released in the year 2006 catapulted Vadivelu as a hero. The sequel began in 2017 with Shankar and Lyca Productions joining hands but within a few weeks of shooting Vadivelu walked out citing that his costume designer was insulted.
