The sudden demise of the much loved comedy actor Vadivel Balaji has shocked millions of fans and celebrities too are sharing their grief on social media. Balaji shared a close bonding with top hero Sivakarthikeyan during the latter's television days and they also worked together in a number of episodes of 'Athu Ithu Ethu'.

'KPY' director Thomson has shared that Sivakarthikeyan spoke to him over the phone and expressed his condolences for the death of Balaji and also promised that he would take care of the education of the two children of the late actor.

It is said that Siva reminisced the days when he and Balaji would improvise on the script of 'Athu Ithu Yethu" and also recalled how the talented comedian would shoot for four to five episodes in a day and still not lose enthusiasm. He also paid rich tribute that Balaji had the talent to evoke laughter spontaneously on any stage with very less preparation.

Siva also added that only a few months back he met Balaji in a wedding and spent some time with him and that he would never forget the way he laughed all his life.
