Dhanush has sent his fans into ecstasy by announcing the release date of his magnum opus 'Vada Chennai' which is hitting the screens worldwide on October 17th. He plays Anbu dubbed as the "Son of Destiny: Prince of the Hood". The film directed by Vettrimaaran is jointly produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films and Lyca Productions.

'Vada Chennai' has the ensemble cast comprising of Dhanush, Aishwarya Rajesh, Andrea, Ameer, Samuthirakani, Daniel Balaji and Kishore. Music is by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by Velraj and editing is taken care of by G.B. Venkatesh and R.Ramar.
