Pan Indian films have become the most popular feature of Indian cinema in last few years. This movement was started by 2015 film 'Bahubali' and was further sustained by recent releases like 'Pushpa', 'KGF: Chapter 2', 'RRR' etc. The nationwide craze of these films has also tempted some Bollywood stars to try their hands in regional cinema.
In a recent conversation with Bombay Times, actress Vaani Kapoor shared that she would love to be part of a pan Indian film in order to be able to reach larger audience. She stated, "I would love to be a part of a pan-Indian film. The bigger the audience, the better your chances of reaching out and connecting to a wider audience. Well, that is the ultimate goal and I shall manifest to find a project like that.”
Vaani will soon be seen sharing screen with actor Ranbir Kapoor in the period drama 'Shamshera' and she is super excited about it. Talking about the same, she earlier told BT, "I really feel that Ranbir puts his soul into his characters and you can connect to the soul of the person he’s playing on screen. His acting looks so real, that you don’t feel like he is acting! This is exactly why it feels magical to see him perform on screen and it is for this reason that I am looking forward to seeing us together on screen."
