Actress Vaani Kapoor is all set to impress the audience with her performance in Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt starrer period drama 'Shamshera'. Through the promotional content so far, Vaani's character Sona has managed to intrigue the audience and some of them have even compared her to Katrina Kaif's character in 'Thugs Of Hindostan'.

In a recent media interaction, Vaani addressed the comparison and stated that both the characters are vastly different from each other. According to a report in ETimes, she said, “No, because there's only so much that you've seen in a trailer. One must perceive way more than one can understand from the trailer or the song that has come out. But there's an entirely different arc for my character. I can say with conviction that it's a very different film. I've seen Thugs of Hindostan, and I've worked on my film, and there's no comparison.”

Vaani then went on heap praises on Katrina Kaif. "She is a wonderful dancer, actor, everything, and I'm glad. If you're comparing me, please compare me to her beauty. I would be very happy. But I know that my part is written in a different way and the subject in the film is very different from that one," she stated.
