Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi
What's common in Anil Kapoor's 'Mr. India' and Shammi Kapoor's 'Brahmachari'? Both the flicks revolved around a bunch of kids who are in the wings of a young man who may not be the richest man on the earth but still has a heart of gold. 'Vaah ! Life Ho To Aisi' too falls in the same genre with ton loads of fantasy elements added to it. Mahesh Manjrekar takes a shift from his hard-hitting subjects to come up with a fun'n'frolic film that celebrates life and is hence aptly titled 'Vaah ! Life Ho To Aisi'.
A bunch of kids [Akhil, Ishan, Darshil, Parth, Satya, Tanvi, Shivangi, Palak, Shweta Prasad] stay happily with their Adi chachu [Shahid Kapoor] who looks after them and gives them all the happiness that they would have ever imagined. They are happy in their own small world and the going is wonderful due to presence of Piya [Amrita Rao] in their life who is just one of them! Proudly calling themselves as 'Tigers', they are carefree, do not worry about a thing in life and have fun all the time.
But just like every good thing has to come to an end, a threat looms large on their lives too as their happiness was to be short-lived!
Their dear Adi chachu is snatched away by the cruel hands of destiny and they are all alone once again.
Adi is DEAD!
But hold on before you start wondering if VLHTA is in fact a depressing subject rather than celebration of life. Because Adi is back soon! But not like a human being, but a superpower! And this is done by none other than the GOD of DEATH - Yamaraj.
So who enacts the role of this kind-hearted Yamaraj? Well, it is none other than dynamic Sanjay Dutt. And before you start visualizing deadly Dutt with big moustaches, a huge 'mukut' and a 'dhoti', take a break as he is a GOD belonging to the 21st century.
Hence what you see is a modern day Yamaraj who calls himself 'MA' i.e. Maut Ka Aayojak, wears designer suits, chooses to wear stylish shades and roams around the clouds in nothing less than a 1928 Chevrolet.
Above all, he wants reel star Sanjay Dutt to know that he resembles Yamaraj!!
Soon Adi is back on earth as a superhero and confronts the evil powers who threaten to snatch away the happiness of his near and dear ones. With unmatched invincible powers and assistance from a Fakir [Arshad Warsi] who communicates with ghosts and grants supernatural powers to kids, he takes on the mighty and does everything that he should to gain justice.
With plenty of special effects to boast of, the movie also stars Sharad Saxena, Aman Verma, Mohnish Behl, Rajat Bedi and Prem Chopra.
Watch out for the escapades of Yamaraj, Fakir and Adi this Christmas!
Because Christmas is the time for friends, family.........and some unexpected visitors!
