Ever since 'Vaadivaasal' was announced a couple of years back the expectations have only grown higher day be day. Its mainly due to the enticing combination of actor Suriya and director Vetrimaaran two of the most prolific figures in Tamil cinema. The suprising thing is that the filming has not even started yet but the title keeps trending on social media.
Rumours spread periodically that 'Vaadivaasal' may not take off in the near future but the film's cast and crew are working silently on it. According to latest reports Vetrimaaran has decided to bring in Hollywood computer graphics experts on board for the film and talks are on with the companies that recently executed the mindblowing effects for James Cameron's 'Avatar: The Way of Water'. It is also said that music composer G.V. Prakash Kumar is also working on the theme music and songs.
Vetrimaaran is currently busy with the postproduction work of his two part film 'Viduthalai' starring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. The first part will release on March 31st and the second a few months later. He is expected to move on to 'Vaadivaasal' by mid-year.
Suriya on the other hand is currently acting in Siruthai Siva's 'Surya 42', which again is a two part project that costars Disha Patani, Kovai Sarala and Yogi Babu. The film has music by Devi Sri Prasad and is jointly produced by UV Creations and Studio Green.
