The much awaited mega movie Mahabharata has been a hot cake for the media ever since it was announced last year. The movie is a screen adaptation of the novel titled’      by noted Malayalam writer M.T.Vaudevan Nair. UAE based Indian businessman Dr. BR Shetty is investing a whopping Rs 1000 crores for this epic project. VA Shrikumar Menon will be directing this film.

Mohanlal has already been draped to play the protagonist of the movie of Bheema. The makers had informed that several leading actors from other industries will be part of this movie. And as per information stars like Ajay Devgn, Nagarjuna and Mahesh Babu have been approached for the movie. Earlier Telugu superstar Nagarjuna had revealed that the producers of the movie approached him to associate with the movie. But it was not confirmed that how much time will take for things to finalize.

And as per sources, the movie will have two parts and it is expecting that the makers of the movie soon will announce details regarding the whole cast and by the end of this year. This mega movie will be made as a multilingual in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and English and be planning to have a worldwide release in 2020.

Earlier it has been reported that the director was planning to approach Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan and Mahesh Babu for the film will play one of the key characters of the epic Krishna in the film. And Bollywood superstar Amir Khan also once showed his interest to enact the role of Krishna when Mahabharata has ever been made into a film.
