"Ye pani chesina sare, entertaining ga cheyalanedi naa policy," says Nani's character in the trailer for 'V', which is believed to be an action-thriller but it could be an entertainer on some level. Director Mohanakrishna Indraganti seems to have packaged Nani's psychopathic character to dish out entertainment. And the film is self-aware about the high expectations from it: "Malli expectation ki match avvaledanna maata raakoodadu," Nani declares towards the end of the largely racy trailer.

From Nani's sadistic laughter to the shoot-outs and riotous action scenes, the trailer has a wide range. Nivetha Thomas' line to Sudheer Babu could be misleading.

Aditi Rao Hydari is absent in the trailer and that might be a hint to understand something about Nani's motives. Sudheer Babu's macho avatar and his subtly suspicious gaze are interesting.

Jagapathi Babu, Avasarala Srinivas and Nasser are part of the cast. Vennela Kishore has a role.

With music by Amit Trivedi and background score by Thaman, the film has cinematography by PG Vinda.

'V' will stream on Amazon Prime from September 5.
