Uu Kodatara Ulikki Padatara
Uu Kodatara Ulikki Padatara is not a normal title. In fact, when Balakrishna was approached for a special role, he wondered if the title was befitting to his starry image. Many of us might still be finding it difficult to be at peace with this lengthy title that has not made any sense. However, this is not all. Much will depend on how far Shekar Raja's story does justice to the title. After Mr. Nookayya, forget a hit, meaningful entertainment is all what is expected from Manoj.
At a time when costly sets erected for varied purposes are brandished with pride by the producers, the Rs. 6.5 cr. 'mahal' set has been not so widely flaunted by the makers. Perhaps they want to save the surprise element. With Balayya's role, as also Manoj's sword-wielding, bare-chested avatar, and Lakshmi's cameo, raising curiosity more than expectations, UKUP will benefit substantially from all these if it generates positive buzz.
For Deeksha Seth too the film is important because she has had no success with Veedinthe and Nippu. Panchi Bora is the other heroine.
The genre of the film is, surprisingly, romantic comedy. Bebo Sasi's music, cinematography and the art work are the other important technical departments.
