When it is a big project, much anticipated, it is the norm that the film remains in careful making for months, and sometimes even for years. This is the primary reason why the releases for legendary actors like Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan are far and few these days. Normally, when it comes to Ulaga Nayagan's movies, they take at least close to a year for completion. But breaking the myth that big films take long in the making, director Ramesh Aravind's 'Uthama Villain' has nearly wrapped up shooting and the team is soon to step into post production.
If sources close to the film are to be believed, then major portions in the film have been canned already, with only patches left to be shot. 'Uthama Villain' has Kamal Hassan, Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Parvathi, Nasser and Jayaram in important roles, has music by Ghibran and is produced by Thirrupathi Brothers. Post the completion of this project, Kamal Hassan will start shooting, along with Gautami, for the Tamil remake of Mollywood blockbuster, 'Drishyam'.
