Ustad Hotel wins the Nationals

Anwar Rasheed's Ustad Hotel ' has made an upset win at the National awards announced today. The movie was adjudged the best popular movie providing wholesome entertainment, one of the rare awards ever fetched by Mollywood cinema.

While Late thespian Thilakan has won a special mention for the performance in the film , Anjali Menon has won the award for best dialogues for its impressive screen lines.

The movie which was one of the best run films of last year featured Dulqar salman and Nithya Menon in its cast lists.

Interestingly, the movie was totally ignored in the state awards announced last week.
