Kulu Manali, the thriller in the making, is in the news for an entirely interesting reason. Usha Uttup has sung a song for a Telugu film after a gap of 20 years. The last time she crooned for a Telugu number was for a song in Keechurallu. Vegeshna Satish, the director, says, "That Usha Uttup has lent her voice for a Telugu number after a gap of two decades, for the first time since Keechurallu, makes it special. 'Manchu Kondala Jabili.. Manuvu Nadichina Ee Valley', so goes the title. This will become a highlight of the movie."

Starring Shraddha Das, Krishnudu and Sashank in the main roles, the film also has Archana (Veda of Nenu fame), Samiksha, Akshay and Ritu Kaur playing other important roles.

While the music will be released later this month, the movie will be released in February. Sonali Joshi, Gauri Sharma, Anil, Khayyum, Vishnuvardhan, Chanti, Anuhya and others are part of the film.

Boppanna Chandrasekhar is producing the movie under Jahnavi Productions. Music is by Sri Vasanth. Lyrics are by Rama Jogayya Sastry and Bhaskarabhatla.
