Usha Uthup finally makes her screen debut

Usha Uthup, the most remarkable singer from the state, has finally agreed to play a role in the next Joshy film. In this film starring Mammootty in the lead, titled 'Pothamvava'- Usha Uthup will be playing the role of Vakkilamma, a crucial character around whom the film revolves.
In the film , Usha Uthup will play Mammootty's mother. The producer of the film, Lal is sure for the critical importance of the character played by the singer and added celeb status that the film got by signing her.
Usha Uthup, the original diva of Indian pop music, has enthralled lakhs of audiences for the past four decades. Her desi outfits with Kancheevaram sarees, bigger bindis, colorful bangles and her loud voice had found thousands of followers around the country.
