Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a legislator from Norway’s Progress Party, recently nominated Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. He feels the US President deserves the Nobel for pulling off the recent landmark peace agreement between Israel and the UAE.
With yet another peace deal happening earlier this week between Bahrain and Israel, a deal facilitated by Trump, support for the US President is only increasing. Trump is also credited with not starting a war anywhere in the world. Founder-President of TP USA Charlie Kirk said, "This is your daily reminder that President Trump is the first president to not start a new war in 39 years, is bringing troops home from the Middle East, and is nominated for TWO Nobel Peace Prizes for his Middle East Peace deals."
Indian right-wing is fully supportive of the nomination. "President Trump is a brilliant strategist. In three swift moves he has arranged for three Islamic nations: UAE, Sudan and yesterday Bahrain to diplomatic relations with Israel!! US voters should think they are fortunate to have voted for him in 2016. He walks the talk," tweeted Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy.
So far, four US Presidents have won the Peace Prize: Theodore Roosevelt, Jimmy Carter, Woodrow Wilson and Barack Obama.
If Trump wins this year's Presidential elections, he might stand a good chance of winning the Nobel next year.
