Top defense official resigns!

US acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan announced that Pentagon top official Robert Daigle has resigned from his position. Daigle was the Director of the Defence department's Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation office and will quit after being in office serving for two years.
Shanahan , on behalf of the Department of Defense thanked Bob Daigle for his service over the past two years, and said that along with his team, he was one of the key architects of investment strategies which would ensure that the US Military was ready to face any huge war in future.
As per reports, Daigle will rejoin private sector and had not quoted the reason for resigning.He started leading CAPE from August 2017, and prior to that had been a part of House Armed Services Committee besides also being the leader for three years, the Military Compensation and Retirement Modernization Commission. He decommissioned Truman aircraft carrier and instructed airforce to get F-15X.
