In a friendly gesture to help India fight the Coronavirus, the United States will donate ventilators to India, announced the country's President Donald Trump on Twitter while also revealing that the countries are working together to find a vaccine.
It must be noted that last month India had last lifted it's own restrictions to export the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine , after Donald Trump had advocated the usage of the drug to fight the coronavirus, and this latest ventilator gesture is seen as a support in return.
Donald Trump tweeted "I am proud to announce that the United States will donate ventilators to our friends in India. We stand with India and @narendramodi during this pandemic. We’re also cooperating on vaccine development. Together we will beat the invisible enemy!".
