Urvashi Rautela sparks ‘Kantara 2’ speculations

Actress Urvashi Rautela was most recently seen alongside Chiranjeevi in ‘Waltair Veerayya’. She was the one who danced opposite the Megastar in the song ‘Boss Party’, composed by Devi Sri Prasad. It was a huge song for her, considering the importance of the mass masala entertainer and the kind of stupendous success story it turned out to be. 

The model-turned-actress is now in the news for posting a pic with Kantara’s actor-director Rishab Shetty, who recently said that ‘Kantara 2’ will commence its shoot in June this year. In the social media post, Urvashi said that ‘Kantara 2’ is loading. 

Many Netizens have since started assuming that Urvashi has been roped in by Hombale Films for the prequel, to be released in 2024.

However, as per a media report, Urvashi merely got a pic with Rishab clicked. She hasn’t been enlisted for the film at all. 

Seen recently in Saravanan’s ‘The Legend’, Urvashi is known for making interesting social media posts. If she indeed becomes a part of ‘Kantara 2’, it will be a sort of boost for her acting career.
