As we had reported earlier, actors Urvashi, Aishwarya Rajesh, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Ramya Nambessan, Guru Somasundaram and Lijomol Jose, are teaming up for an upcoming movie titled 'Her'. Touted to be an amalgam of the stories of five women from different walks of life, the project also has Prathap Pothen and Rajesh Madhavan in pivotal roles. Directed by Lijin Jose, the movie is scripted by Archana Vasudev and produced by Anish M Thomas. The movie's announcement was made on May 2 and the latest is that the team has launched the film. The makers kickstarted the film a day ago with a pooja ceremony, held at Carmel Hill Monastery Church, Cotton Hill, Thiruvananthapuram. The ceremony was attended by the entire crew and cast including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Maala Parvathy, and yesteryear actress Menaka.

‘Her’, as the title suggests, is a female-oriented film that talks about the lives of multiple women from different walks of life. As the movie brings together almost all the best performing actresses under one umbrella, the cinephiles have pinned high hopes on the project. Coming to technicalities, Chandru Selvaraj is on board as the cinematographer and editing is by Kiran Das. Music is by composer Govind Vasantha. The film is produced by Anish M Thomas under the banner of AT Studio. Meanwhile, Lijin Jose has another film titled ‘Chera’ coming up. The movie brings together actors Roshan Mathew and Nimisha Sajayan. Scripted by Najeem Koya, the film also stars Guru Somasundaram, Shaji, Jeo Baby, and Lena.
