'Urumi' , Salim kumar wins Madrid

Though the film 'Urumi' and 'Adaminte Makan Abu' had been released more than an year ago, awards are still being showered on the movies. The latest is the Best film best film award at the Imagine India International Film Festival held in Madrid. The director of the movie 'Urumi' , Santhosh Sivan won the best director trophy for the same movie. Malayalam actor Salim kumar was an med the best in the festival for his performance in 'Adaminte Makan Abu'.

Among the seventy films that were screened at 12 sections at the festival, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Adaminte Makan Abu and Traffic were also screened.The festival also had Deepthi Naval winning best actress award for Memories in March.
