Though the movie is the biggest in the scale of production, cast and budget , Santhosh Sivan and his crew is planning to go for limited release of their movie 'Urumi'. The movie is now expected to be on theatres on the 31st of March, but will go for an ordinary release in 70 centres.

'Urumi' will have multiple release centres only in big metroes like Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikkodu and the makers will be releasing the movie in Government theatres in every possible townships.Shaji Nateshan, Prithviraj and Santhosh Sivan will be thus going by the Rajashri pictures way of making big hits by releasing in limited stations. 'Urumi' is receiving all the media hype which itself will land it into a big hit.With mass masala features like songs, dances and tales of romance, revenge and a bit of untraced history, 'Urumi' is said to have produced in around 15 cores. Produced by August Cinema, the movie will be offered to sensors today. Featuring Genelia, Prabhu Deva, Arya, and a bunch of Bollywood stars for the first time in Mollywood, the movie will also have eight songs by Deepak Dev.
