'Urumeen' director's next is a dog adventure film! details

Director Sakthivel Perumalsamy’s ‘Urumeen’ was an impressive treat. Following that, now the director is all set to take up a canine subject for his next outing. In what is touted to be a ‘dog adventure film’, the story is said to be based on some recent incidents surrounding strays.
We might not have forgotten news reports where our canine friends were subject to cruelty and even killing and this film will be based on a dog which escapes from such evil clutches. Reportedly then the story will follow the dog’s escape into a forest and its adaptation guided by natural instincts along with the four boys as cast addition in the movie.
A dog has been selected for the role and has been trained as well. Sakthivel is planning to start rolling after the present producers strike is resolved. The movie will be shot in the jungles of Tamil Nadu,Kerala and Africa as well according to the director. Fingers crossed for the project!
