Urmila chooses tough constituency

'Rangeela' and 'Bharateeyudu' actress Urmila Matondkar has on Wednesday formally joined Congress party. The 45-year-old actress said that his family members have always loved the ideals held by Jawaharlal Nehru and Sardar Patel.
I had social awareness right since childhood, Urmila said in the presence of party chief Rahul Gandhi. She also urged the voters not to be taken in by her glamour.
She is most likely to contest from Mumbai North, a seat nobody in the party wants to contest from. As things stand, BJP's Gopal Shetty is very strong in the area. Mumbai North is said to be the saffron party's stronghold.
