Ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan's prestigious project 'Urimi' is releasing in Telugu soon. This mega multistarrer film that released in Malayalam few months ago is hitting the screens in AP in a few days.

S V R Media Pvt Limited which bought the Telugu rights of films like 'Dasavatharam', ' Surya S/o Krishnan', 'Awara' et al purchased the rights of Urumi too.

Representatives from SVR Media informed that the songs of 'Urimi' have been recorded recently. Arya, Prithviraj, Genelia, Nitya Menen,Tabu, Prabhudeva, Vidya Balan et al acted in this flick.

Singers Vijay Yesudas, Chinmayee, Hemachandra, et al sang the Telugu songs for the film. Deepak Dev is the music director. With the story based on Vasco Da Gama's invention of sea route to India and the impact it had on Kerala, 'Urimi' won critical acclaim. Santosh Sivan also handled cinematography for this flick.

We are yet to see how the audience in AP respond to this film.
