Superstar Upendra, director, actor, music director, producer Sadhu Kokila and producer Munirathna Naidu are hitting hat trick together from the launch of a new film on September 18 - birthday of Upendra.

Sadhu Kokila after briefing the media on his '90' Kannada film confirmed that the film starring Upendra will have Ramya as the female lead but it is not a remake of Malayalam film 'Udayam Taram' and not the title 'Gandhinagar Mahatme' reported in a section of media.

It is based on the story of superstar Upendra and dialogue will be penned by him. I am looking after the screenplay, music, direction and also act in the film.

With this Sadhu, Uppi and Munirathna (current Presdient of Kannada Film Producers Association) are on a hat trick. In Sadhu Kokila direction the first film 'Raktha Kanneeru' for Upendra and producer Munirathna was a bumper hit. The second film was 'Anatharu' in the same combination. Both were remake films. The third one is not a remake but an original story based film declares Sadhu Kokila.
