The super star of Kannada cinema into politics – cashless politics to be precise has got the ‘Auto rickshaw’ symbol for his political party Karnataka Pragnavanthara Janata Paksha. The symbol was approved by the Election commission on last Saturday.

‘Auto’ and Shanker Nag is very close. It is after ‘Auto Raaja’ all auto drivers put up the photo of Shanker Nag. Upendra to the film audience is ‘Auto Shanker’ and ‘Auto Raaja’ was once again made in Kannada with Golden star Ganesh as hero.

With ‘Auto’ as symbol for his party Upendra has gained affinity to the working class. For his meeting in Hubballi he came in auto to campaign for his party. Addressing the massive attendance Upendra declared that his cashless political party sole intention is to give corruption free governance.
