The two biggest films of big stars set for release a week after week. On 26th January – Republic Day of the nation utopian Upendra, Ragini and Sada starring topnotch P Vasu directed film 'Arakshaka' is releasing in over 150 theatres and week next on 3rd February 2012 'Chingari' of Darshan is set for release in over 150 screens in Karnataka.

After 'Super' super hit film and dull 'Srimathi' Upendra is back on silver screen while he is working in 'Godfather, Katari Veera Sura Sundarangi' a complete 3D film and Kalpana Kannada films. For 'Arakshaka' the hype was there from the beginning because the producer Krishnaprajwal given a successful film 'Aptha Rakshaka' 200th film of Dr Vishnuvardhana. The hype is also huge because of Upendra and P Vasu combination. There is variety in 'Arakshaka' and it is all about a young aspirant who wants to become a cop. The stills released to the media describe that the film 'Arakshaka' has some strong contents that stuns the audience all over.

There are two heroines for Upendra in this film. Both Sada and Ragini have acted with Upendra for the first time. The song in the film 'Arakshana' Thu Nan Makla….sung and written by Upendra has become richly popular among the fans of Upendra and youths. Gurukiran has scored the music and PKH Doss is the cameraman for 'Arakshaka'.

Darshan first film to release on 3rd February is 13 days before his birthday that falls on 16th February. The mega hit of 'Sarathi' for Darshan kept him very strong in the box office. The distributors are asking for outright purchase of 'Chingagi'.

Directed by Harsha the famous choreographer handled two films earlier 'Birugali and Geleya' and he has seven action scenes for action hero Darshan. Deepika Kamaiah from hilly region of Coorg is the heroine and Bhavana of Kannada cinema has a strong role.

V Harikrishna has composed the songs for this film. Krishnakumar is the cameraman of 'Chingari'.
