It is surprising but true. Super star Upendra with a failure film 'Arakshaka' in this year is appearing in the lead role with mallu heroine Bhavana in 'Topiwala'. The film is going on the floor on 12th March in a big way.

The surprise is that Upendra has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues but leaving the direction part to Srinivas who is novice in direction. Srini as popularly known radio jockey acted in sundry roles and his impeccable direction 'Simply Kail Awesome' was well received. Chaya Singh acted in this television film. The short film went in for Houston Independent film festival. It was produced by SV Babu.

Now this youngster has taken up a big task and it will be a political satire as the title itself indicates. Srinivas is shooting in two schedules to complete the film. Shreesha Kuduvalli as the cinematographer of and Hari Krishna will be the scoring the music for 'Topiwala'.

'Jackie' Bhavana is having a successful career in Kannada coming from Malayalam films. The first film 'Jackie' was mega hit, next Vishnuvardhana was super hit and now she is with Upendra as her counterpart in 'Topiwala'.
