It is a rare feat for Upendra Uppi 2`. The film released on 14th of August has acquired first position in the Internet Movie Data Base (IMDB). Kannada film Rangitaranga` that is heading for 50 days was also placed in No.2 position recently by the same IMDB. As for as collection is concerned Upendra has sent messages to media stating that in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh three days collection from 600 plus theatres screening of Uppi 2` is Rs.45 crores. 250 theatres in Karnataka, daily five shows, per show 700 seats, Rs.150 per ticket it is Rs.8.75 crores per day and for three days it is Rs.25 crores in three days. In Andhra Pradesh it is 75 percent collection - that makes Rs.45 crores in three days Upendra accountancy. According to film pundits in Gandhinagar Upendra is very liberal in his calculation.
