'Uppena' stars debutant Vaishnav Tej, who is Sai Dharam Tej's younger brother. The First Wave (a kind of musical teaser), released today, sees the male lead screaming a name into the universe's ears. The visual of the female lead (played by debutante Kriti Shetty) liltingly stepping out of a vehicle interrupts the loud nature of the moment.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the romantic drama will hit the screens on April 2.

As is known, Kollywood star Vijay Sethupathi is the film's antagonist. Also seen in the film are Sai Chand and Brahmaji in supporting roles.
