Marking Maha Shivaratri, a special video in which Krithi Shetty is seen dancing to 'Eswara' song from 'Uppena' was released. While the song was a montage one in the film, in the video, it gets a Kuchipudi rendition.

Written by Chandrabose and sung by Devi Sri Prasad, the DSP composition in the film was soulful and situational. Shot on Vaisshnav Tej and Krithi, the song drove a philosophical worldview.

'Uppena', directed by debutant Buchi Babu Sana, turned out to be a massive hit.

As for Krithi, she is doing Ram Pothineni's Telugu-Tamil bilingual next. The film is directed by N Linguswamy. She is also part of Sudheer Babu's film with director Mohanakrishna Indraganti. Titled 'Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali', the film is a romantic drama. Nani's 'Shyam Singha Roy' is also in her filmographic repertoire.
