The remake films in Kannada are mounting day by day. The Tamil and Telugu films like Devathai Kandein, Roja Koottam, Kadhal Kondein, Polladhavan, Bose, Chithiram Pesudhadi, Ready, Ullasanga Uthsahanga, Vikramarkudu etc are underway and now Upendra had taken up Ravi Teja's 'Krishna' which is being made as 'Rajani' in Kannada.

Upendra busy in an untitled film and taking up 'London Gowda' (Namasthe London or Madhavan film in Hindi) is appearing in this remake of the Raviteja, Trisha starrer Telugu film. Well known production house Ramu Enterprises is producing the 27th film in the banner. Action director of over 350 films Thriller Manju is directing the film while lyricist Ramnarayan writes the dialogues. The film 'Krishna' is going to the floors on March 16.

Hamsalekha is scoring music for this film. But, Hamsalekha has broken the promise he made earlier. He had told in the past that he would not score music for remake films and was making silent protests against such films. PKH Das handles the cinematography.
