What Tamil superstar Rajinikanth wanted to do, what Prakash Raj was all set to do, now it goes to superstar Upendra. That is 'Dalavayi Muddanna' a combination of three subjects of Ta.Ra.Su.

The Tamil superstar had the intentions of appearing in the role of 'Dalavayi Muddanna' but the business calculations did not permit him. The history of 'Palegara' community prevalent similar in Dindigal province in Tamil Nadu was also matched. But it was later not advisable for Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth. Rajinikanth referred to Ta.Ra.Su novels – Kambani Kuyilu, Raktha Rathri, Rajyadaaha and Thirugu Baana in many of his speeches in Bengaluru. A few of the contents (laka Laka Laka episode) of this are included in 'Chandramukhi' Tamil film too.

Later TS Nagabharana consulted Prakash Raj to take up this powerful cinema in the production of C Narayan. Even the costumes were also decided for Nagabharana and Prakash Raj combination. That also got in to trouble.

After four years 'Dalavayi Muddanna' is in news. Corporation councilor Munirathna Naidu has held talks with C Narayan who has the rights of the novel and he is getting in Upendra for the key role.

Hat trick director Prem – of Excuse Me, Kariya, Jogi, E Priti Eke Bhumi Melidhe, Raj the Showman and Jogaiah is in place of TS Nagabharana in the new combination of 'Dalavayi Muddanna'.
