When 'Simhadri' hit the screens in 2003, it was termed an industry hit. Written by Vijayendra Prasad, the film was first offered to Nandamuri Balakrishna. It later went to Tarak, who would come to be known as the Man of the Masses.

What is more, Tarak's first breakout hit, 'Aadi' (2002), will also be re-released. The film will come out on May 20, which is Tarak's birthday. "Get ready to witness the POWERFUL Blockbuster Aadi on Big Screens Once again. Worldwide Grand Re-Release on May 20," the makers said. Produced by Bellamkonda Suresh, 'Aadi' is directed by VV Vinayak. Starring Rajan P Dev as the villain, the film had Keerthi Chawla as the heroine.
