Back in 2015, superstar Ajay Devgan starred in the remake of Malayalam thriller flick 'Drishyam' which turned out to be a huge success and became a cult classic over years. After the original Mohanlal starrer got a sequel last year, it was announced that Hindi version of 'Drishyam 2' is also going to happen soon.
The filming for the project had started few months back in Goa and the latest buzz suggests that Ajay is going to resume working on 'Drishyam 2' from today. Now that his film 'Runway 34' has released, it seems that Ajay can now focus on his upcoming projects. A recent report in Pinkvilla suggested that he will shoot for 'Drishyam 2' in Goa for one month and post that he'll return to Mumbai.
Talking about the project and his character, Ajay said, "Vijay is a multidimensional character and he creates an engaging narrative onscreen. Abhishek Pathak (director) has a fresh vision for this film. I’m keenly looking forward to part 2, filling in the large shoes of the earlier film with people investing in the mystery and the characters."
Apart from him, the film will also feature Tabu, Shriya Saran and Akshay Khanna. It would be interesting to see how close 'Drishyam 2' is going to be to its Malayalam counterpart.
