'Bhool Bhulaiya 2' is one of Kartik Aaryan's several interesting projects. It's been in production for quite a while now. Ideally, the film would've wrapped up long ago but the pandemic halted the production twice. As the number of Covid-19 cases is decreasing again and things are gradually opening up, makers of 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2' are also planning their stretegy for the next schedule of the film.

Director Anees Bazmee is planning to finish the remaining part of the film in just one schedule. Anees told Pinkvilla, Now that we have got permission to shoot, we will sit down and plan the schedule this week. The remaining portions of the film will be wrapped up in one schedule in Mumbai, however, we might have to go to Lucknow for a brief period for continuity purpose. We are working on the logistics and will know the exact dates in next few days. But the film is almost ready and the remaining portions will be shot in one go.

Other than Kartik, 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2' also stars Tabu, who will play a character similar to Vidya Balan in the original.
