13 children in school van dead after being hit by a speeding train

In a shocking incident, 13 students lost their lives when the bus they were travelling in was hit by a train in a rail crossing. The grievous incident happened in Khushinagar, Uttar Pradesh this morning. It is said that atleast eight students suffer from serious injuries.
Reportedly the incident happened at 7.30 am. The van driver has also lost his life in the mishap. It is said that he was listening to music while driving the vehicle. The gate mitra had actually tried to stop the van driver to no avail, but the van somehow ended up halting at the track.
In light of this Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath has assured assitance to the familes of the victims in addition to asking the police commisisoner of Gorakhpur to conduct an investigation into the incident.
