Director Kannan Thamarakulam, whose last two projects Aadupuliyaatam and Achayans were hits, will be next teaming up with Unni Mukundan and Anoop Menon in his next. Titled Chanakyathanthram, the first look poster the action thriller was unveiled last day on social media. While Unni Mukundan has already worked with Kannan Thamarakulam in Achayans, Anoop has worked with the director in Thinkal Muthal Velli Varae. 

Scripted by Dinesh Pallathu, Chanakyathanthram will also have Shivada and Sruthi Ramachandran in the female leads along with Sai Kumar, Sampath and Dharmajan Bolgatty doing the other major roles. Produced under the banner Miracle Productions, the film's music is by Shaan Rahman and lyrics by Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri. Meanwhile Kannan Thamarakulam has also signed Jayaram for his another project titled Varu Irikku Kazhikkam, which will go on floors after chanakyathanthram.
