Unni Mukundan's Meppadiyan gets a release date

Actor Mukundan's much-awaited ambitious movie Meppadiyan is all set to hit the theatres on January 14, 2022. Announcing the release date, the makers of the movie have unveiled a brand new poster featuring the lead actor. Unni, who is also producing ‘Meppadiyan’, shared his excitement on the movie's release. Jan 14th, almost a decade back I had given my first shot as an actor and I can’t be any happier to let you all know that this Jan14th, I happily bring to you Meppadiyan, produced Under my banner, UnniMukundanFilms! See you at the theatres!, wrote Unni.
It was recently Superstar Mohanlal shared a new song from the film that was sung by Unni himself. “Presenting the lyrical video song of Lord Ayyappa from the movie Meppadiyan. Best wishes to Unni Mukundan, Vishnu Mohan and team. #Meppadiyan releasing in January 14th, 2022,” Mohanlal said in his social media post.
Directed by debutant Vishnu Mohan, the upcoming family entertainer will feature Unni in the role of a mechanic and garage owner. Meppadiyan has Anju Kurian in the female lead.
Meppadiyaan’ has an elaborate supporting cast comprising of actors like Saiju Kurup, Kottayam Ramesh, Major Ravi, Aju Varghese, Vijay Babu, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Nisha Sarang, Indrans, Kundara Johny, Sreejith Ravi and Pauly Valsan among many others.
