It is no secret that ‘Jurassic World Dominion’, the sixth movie of the Jurassic Park franchise, has a Malayalee in its cast. It is none other than Varada Sethu, the UK-based actress with Kerala roots. The gorgeous diva who is essaying the role of Shira in the recently released movie, 'Jurassic World Dominion', is all set to make her Mollywood debut. The actress is playing the female lead in the acclaimed director Jayaraj's upcoming film 'Pramadhavanam'. The actress plays opposite Unni Mukundan in the movie, which is a romantic drama based on a story by Madhavikutty. Produced by Dr Thambi, the film also features Kailash along with Unni Mukundan and Varada. The news was officially announced by the director Jayaraj via his official Instagram handle. The director’s Instagram note read, “Congratulations to our ‘Pramadavanam’ Heroine VARADA SETHU for featuring in “JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION” as Shira.”
Born in Kerala, Varada Sethu is one of the twin children of a Malayalee doctor couple settled in the UK. Varada, who is also a dancer, has also been featured in several Hollywood movies' namely ‘Now You See Me 2’, ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ and ‘Strike Back’ among others. According to the reports, Varada will be essaying a significant role in the Hollywood epic space fiction series ‘Star Wars’. Coming back to Jayaraj’s film ‘Pramadhavanam’, the movie's editing section is handled by Dileep and Sachu Saji is roped in as the cinematographer for ‘Pramadhavanam’. Srinish is in charge of the music department of the film.
