Actor Unni Mukundan has recently pledged to donate his eyes. Surprising many, as many as 100 members of the crew of his upcoming movie Chanakya Thantram, has also joined the actor to take the pledge. It all started after Unni Mukundan, expressed his long time dream to director Kannan Thamarakulam. Soon the movie's crew too joined the actor to take the pledge.

Unni Mukundan's co-star Anoop Menon was also part of the noble initiative. Chanakya Thanthram's director Kannan Thamarakulam, scriptwriter Dinesh Pallath, producer Muhammed Faisal,  Arun Narayanan and actor Niyas too joined the endeavour. With this noble gesture, the team marked the beginning of the film's shooting. This is probably the first time that the entire crew of a movie undertakes a similar endeavour.
