After Unni Mukundan put up a post on Facebook page praising the action sequences of Mammootty in Ajai Vasudev’s ‘Streetlights’, few netizens criticised the maker’s claims on Mammootty’s action sequences. Replying to a fan who made sarcastic comments against the Megastar, Unni Mukundan wrote, “My name is Unni Mukundan. Post your reply to this message on Dec 21 after you see the film. I repeat Mammukka is on fire. By the way, I'm personally waiting for Dec 21 and your reply.” Unni Mukundan’s post seem to have made Mammootty’s fans very happy, who is already going gaga over the Megastar’s avatar in Masterpiece teaser.

Unni Mukundan, an ardent self-proclaimed Mammootty fan, will also be seen in the movie, in which he plays the role of a  cop named John Thekkan. The multi-starrer entertainer also has Poonam Bajwa, Gokul Suresh, Santhosh Pandit and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in important roles. Scripted by  Pulimurugan fame Udayakrishna, Masterpiece will be releasing on December 21.
