Unlock 3.0: No schools, colleges, cinema halls, Metro Rail, etc.

The Central government on Wednesday notified the guidelines for the third edition of Unlock, which will come into effect from August 1. Here we bring you the key highlights of it:

Opening up:

Gyms will be allowed to operate from August 5.

Yoga institutes can operate from August 5.

Night curfew, which has been there since March, will no longer be applicable for individuals.

Limited international flights will be allowed.

Closed down:

Cinema halls, bars, swimming pools will remain shut.

Metro Rail will remain shut.

Schools and other educational institutions will remain closed till August 31. The Centre will take a decision on them only after holding extensive consultations with States.

What about containment zones?

Lockdown will remain in these zones. It will be strict and only essential activities will be allowed. In other words, there will be no relaxations in containment zones till August 31.
