A kind hearted man in Mizoram has come forward to clear the bank loans of four people he never knew, as he wanted to help people during the lockdown. Reportedly, the person finds joy in helping the needy people.
It has been said that the man had a strict condition that his identity must be hidden and that he didn't need publicity. The man has cleared loans of 4 people including three women as he transferred Rs 9,96,365 to their accounts maintained in State Bank of India’s (SBI) Aizawl branch.
As said by SBI branch Assistant General Manager Sheryl Vanchhong, only three employees of the bank know his identity and he met them before few days to discuss his plans to help people and asked them to select few people who had mortgaged properties and couldn't repay loans, with his limit being 10 lakhs. Four people meeting the criteria and struggling during COVID-19 lockdown were chosen and the mystery man transferred money online. The 4 people got back the documents of the lands they had mortgaged and they were reportedly out of words to thank the unidentified man's warm gesture.
