Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’ directed by Shankar is the most anticipated movie by millions of fans worldwide. The film’s grand audio launch is set to amaze people with A.R Rahman’s live concert in Dubai’s seven star hotel Burj Al Arab.

Rajinikanth, Shankar, A.R Rahman and Akshay Kumar were flown in from their hotel to the venue to address presspersons before the audio launch.

Director Shankar stated that the film was not being made for the sake of a sequel but rather to encourage 3D films in India.

The film’s music composer A.R.Rahman revealed an interesting information about the film that it will feature only three songs. The Academy award winning music composer further added that two songs will be released tomorrow on October 27 and the remaing one song will be released later.

Bollywood’s Akshay Kumar who essays the role of a villain in ‘2.0’ was also present during the event. Akshay aslo stated that he need to do at least five more films with Rajinikanth to learn more from the master. 
 
Another interesting moment in the press meet was when the Superstar was asked why he was so simple. Rajinikanth’s reply floored everyone. “Nobody pays me to act in my real life, so I’m simple,” he said.

The film which is budgeted at an estimated 450 crore is being bankrolled by Subaskaran Allirajah and is set to entertain audiences statring January 25.
