Rana Daggubati awaits the release of 'Aranya' on April 2 and the 'Baahubali' actor is counting on this Prabhu Solomon directorial that will also hit the screens in Hindi and Tamil.
True to its genre, the forest film was shot in four wildest jungles, the makers say. "We filmed it in the forests of Kerala, besides a few locations in Mahabaleshwar Mumbai. A major part of the film was shot in Thailand. It was a taxing endeavour to can 'Aranya' over 250 days with the help of 145 members of cast and crew," a report says.
The story revolves around the caretaker Aranya and his 16 smart elephants that know survival strategies.
More than Shantanu Moitra's music, AR Ashok Kumar's cinematography and the super-talented Resul Pookutty's sound design are said to be top-notch. Production Design is by Mayur Sharma. Action choreography is by Stunner Sam and Stun Siva.
