Oscar award winning legendary music director AR Rahman has now achieved yet another special honour. The music director has been appointed as the ambassador of the BAFTA Breakthrough initiative in India.

AR Rahman has expressed his happiness on working with BAFTA and discover some of the amazing talents India has to offer in film, games and television. He said that this is a unique opportunity for promising artistes to get supported by a world renowned organisation besides also connecting with other talented creatives across the world and mentored by BAFTA winners and nominees.

This initiative from BAFTA is a talent hunt event where five talents working in fields like film, games, television in India will be identified and nurtured and these talents will get promoted as BAFTA Breakthrough artistes.
