Jayam Ravi's Bhoomi to have a unique festive release plan?

Actor Jayam Ravi's 25th movie Bhoomi directed by his Romeo Juliet and Bogan director Lakshman was supposed to hit screens worldwide on May 1, but due to the Coronavirus pandemic the release was pushed and now here's an update on the movie.
While it was said that Bhoomi has opted for a direct digital release and might be premiering on Hotstar, the latest speculations making the rounds is that Sun network has acquired the release rights of the movie.
It has been further said that Bhoomi will be Sun TV's exclusive premiere on eve of Diwali festival in the evening slot and after the TV premiere the movie will be available on Sunnxt OTT platform. An official statement on Bhoomi's premiere is expected soon.
