Last month, actress Trisha has been nominated as the UNICEF Celebrity advocate to voice for the rights of children and women in India. Now the busy actress who has completed 15 years in the film industry is on the ground working towards the sanitation needs of women.

On Friday Trisha participated in the toilet construction activity in Vadanemelli village near Kanchipuram. She also took part in a meeting with the Tamil Nadu Government's sanitation officials to discuss the sanitation programs for that locality.

We wish Trisha to bring out the best in her journey as an activist for sanitation and hygiene of downtrodden people of India, many of whom lack even basic facilities such as pure drinking water and toilets.
