'Adhagapattathu Magajanangalay'- Decent Box Office performance

National Award winning actor Thambi Ramaiah's son Umapathi has made his debut with 'Adhagapattathu Magajanangalay' which released on June 30.
The film directed by debutant Inbasekar has taken an Average Opening in Chennai box office.
With 41 shows in 10 screens across Chennai in the first three days, the film has collected Rs.3,18,720 with a decent 80% occupancy.
The trade calls it an Average Opening and the film requires to perform well for another weekend if it has to enter the safe zone,
However all theaters across Tamil Nadu have been shutdown today as a strike against Tamil Nadu Government's levy of 30% Entertainment tax apart from the GST on movie tickets. The box office fate of 'Adhagapattathu...' as well as other new releases of the week hinges on a favorable decision of the government as well as theater owners.
